Code of Conduct
Effective: September 16, 2025
At 360 Road Rules, we are committed to providing safe, professional, and effective driving instruction. To ensure the best learning environment, we ask every student to follow this Code of Conduct. By booking with us, you agree to the following standards:
1. Respect & Professionalism
- Treat your instructor, the training vehicle, and other road users with courtesy and respect.
- Follow the instructor’s directions promptly. Instructions are given for your safety and the safety of others.
- Disruptive, disrespectful, or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated. This includes verbal abuse, unsafe driving actions, or disregard for road laws.
- Students must respect lesson time. Lessons begin and end at the scheduled times unless adjusted by the instructor.
2. Readiness for Lessons
- Students must bring a valid Ontario driver’s license (G1, G2, or G) to every lesson.
- Students must arrive on time. If you are late, the lesson will still end at the scheduled time.
- Students must be appropriately dressed for driving: comfortable clothing and proper footwear (closed-toe shoes). Sandals, flip-flops, or high heels are not allowed.
- Students must be mentally prepared to focus on driving. Adequate sleep and alertness are essential.
- Mobile phones must be turned off or silenced and stored away during lessons to avoid distractions.
3. Fitness to Drive
- Students must not attend lessons under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medications that impair driving ability.
- Your instructor reserves the right to cancel or terminate a lesson if a student appears unfit to drive. The full lesson fee will still apply.
- If you are unsure about whether medication affects your ability to drive, consult your doctor before booking.
4. Vehicle Care & Safety
- The instructor’s vehicle must be treated with care and respect at all times.
- Eating, drinking, or smoking/vaping in the training vehicle is not permitted.
- Students and instructors must wear seatbelts at all times.
- Any intentional damage to the vehicle will result in the student being held responsible for repair costs.
5. Responsibility During Lessons
- Students must follow all Ontario traffic laws during lessons.
- Students must actively participate in the learning process: stay attentive, ask questions, and practice skills as instructed.
- Students must remain alert to pedestrians, cyclists, construction zones, and changing road conditions.
- Unsafe or reckless actions may result in immediate termination of the lesson, with the full fee still applying.
6. Communication & Conduct Outside Lessons
- Students must provide accurate contact information when booking lessons.
- Students agree to promptly respond to scheduling or lesson updates sent by their instructor.
- Cancellations and rescheduling must follow the Cancellation Policy outlined in the Terms of Service.
- Harassment or inappropriate communication with the instructor outside lesson times will not be tolerated.
7. Compliance
- By enrolling in lessons with 360 Road Rules, you agree to comply with this Code of Conduct.
- Failure to comply may result in lesson termination, suspension of future lessons, or refusal of service.
Our goal is to help you become a safe, confident, and responsible driver. Following this Code of Conduct ensures that every lesson is professional, respectful, and focused on your success.
