Frequently asked questions

Everything about lessons, the car, road tests, and booking. Still stuck? Message us on WhatsApp. We’re quick to reply.

Will I be taught by Kishwar?

Yes. Kishwar teaches every lesson personally. She's an MTO-certified female instructor, and you're never passed off to someone else. It's the same instructor, every time, start to finish.

How long is each lesson?

Lessons are a minimum of 2 hours. That's enough time to actually practice and improve, not just tick a box, and students consistently say the longer sessions are what made the difference.

What car will I learn in?

A fully maintained, MTO-certified 2018 Mazda3 fitted with an instructor brake, so there's always a safety backup while you're learning. It's a comfortable, easy-to-handle car, and because it's the same vehicle you train in, you can use it for your road test so nothing feels unfamiliar on test day.

Do you help me book my road test?

Yes, we assist with booking your G2 or G road test on request. We prepare students for tests in Hamilton, Brantford, and Simcoe, as well as other Ontario DriveTest locations where applicable.

Can I use the car for my road test?

Yes, and we strongly recommend it. It's the car you've trained in, so you'll be most comfortable and confident behind the wheel when it counts.

I'm a nervous or first-time driver, is that okay?

Absolutely. Whether you're a complete beginner, an anxious driver, or returning after years away, Kishwar meets you at your level. Patient, calm, and never rushed. That's the most common thread in her reviews.

How much do lessons cost?

Pricing depends on what you need, so we quote it directly. Message us on WhatsApp and we'll get you a straight answer quickly.

What do I need to bring to a lesson?

A valid Ontario driver's license (G1, G2, or G), comfortable clothing, and closed-toe shoes (no sandals, flip-flops, or heels). Come rested and alert, and keep your phone silenced so the focus stays on driving.

How do payments work?

Payment is due before or at the start of each lesson. Cash is preferred; e-transfer is available with a small processing fee.

What's your cancellation policy?

Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations within 6 hours are charged 50% of the lesson fee; within 1 hour or a no-show is charged the full fee.

What areas do you serve?

Hamilton and the surrounding areas. Road-test preparation covers Hamilton, Brantford, and Simcoe, plus other Ontario DriveTest centres where applicable.

Is your instructor certified?

Yes, Kishwar is an MTO-certified driving instructor with a long track record of first-try passes and 225+ five-star reviews.
